Referring a patient for dental implant treatment
I welcome referrals from dentists who would like an experienced implant clinician to assess or treat their patients.
I see referred patients at Taunton Dental Practice, where I work with an experienced clinical team and have access to the facilities required for implant assessment, treatment planning and implant surgery.
Referrals can range from an opinion or assessment through to individual aspects of implant treatment or complete surgical and restorative care. I am also happy to discuss a case with you before a formal referral is made.
Working with referring dentists
My aim is to work collaboratively with you and provide the level of involvement that you and your patient require.
Where appropriate, I can undertake the surgical implant treatment while you continue to provide the restorative care, or I can manage both the surgical and restorative stages of implant treatment.
The proposed approach can be agreed with you before treatment begins, and patients can return to their referring dentist for their continuing general dental care.
Implant consultancy
If you would like to introduce implant treatment within your own practice but do not currently provide the surgical aspect yourself, I am also happy to discuss how I may be able to support you and your patients.
